Dedalus (FR)

Founded in 1996 by Didier Aschour, DEDALUS is a contemporary music ensemble established in Montpellier since 2011. Dedalus is associated with the GMEA, Centre National de Création Musicale Albi-Tarn.

The repertoire is based on scores from contemporary North American and European experimental music composers from the 1960s to the present day.

The ensemble has performed in Europe and the United States, notably at Instants Chavirés, Roulette (NYC), and in festivals such as Music We’d Like to Hear (London), Musique Action (Vandoeuvre-lès-Nancy), Angelica (Bologna), Elektricity (Reims) …
