Lecture Johannes Kreidler (DE)
Self-Sounders
Instruments that play themselves; a sound whose wave remains materialized in space; wind as a composed subject, the aura of thunder sheets in the storm. Installed music, its motorized producers, idiophones = self-sounders, physics as aesthetics, against a world hostile to science.
From idea to hardware, from tool to counterpart — toward a vitality of matter, thanks to ›art‹, bio-algorithms, confrontational, beautifully merciless-like nature, which screams back beyond the tipping points.
